With a turnover of 4.5 billion and an annual spend of approx. 1.8 billion EUR, thyssenkrupp Automotive is one of the biggest divisions in thyssenkrupp. 19,700 employees produce steerings, drivetrain components, shock-absorbers, body in white assembly lines , forming dies as well as body in white assemblies.

Ferdinand is in charge for the whole spend and the Procurement & Supply Chain organization. Before joining thyssenkrupp he was an International Purchasing Director in ZF and Bosch, and Director Methods and Controlling in Global Procurement in Benteler. He lives in Essen, Germany.
